Kim Cossette, Atlanta Professional Organizer

Photo of Kim Cossette, Professional OrganizerHi, I’m Kim Cossette, organizing expert and founder of The Organized Approach. I have been helping homeowners in the metro Atlanta area with their organizing needs since 2003.

I have not always been organized!

Like many of us, I was your typical unorganized teenager.  However, I was definitely born with the organizing gene and come by my organizing skills naturally. I was fortunate to have been raised in an organized environment (as a matter of fact, I suspect my mother may be related to Martha Stewart!).  Over time, I grew to appreciate the benefits of living an organized life and now working with busy homeowners who also love to be organized, but simply need a helping hand to get there.

My Background

I absolutely do understand the pressures and stress of a chaotic day. Having worked 20 years in the legal and real estate arenas (both fast paced environments which required a keen sense of the need for organization and attention to details) I became increasingly aware of the importance and need for a peaceful, personalized space to relax and unwind in at the end of the day. As a result, I became a Professional Organizer with the heartfelt desire to help homeowners reclaim their space and create their own organized haven.

My credentials that I bring to my clients are…

  • Golden Circle Member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO)
  • Member of NAPO-Georgia
  • Past Secretary (NAPO-Georgia)
  • Past Marketing Director (NAPO-Georgia)
  • Licensed Realtor® – State of Georgia, with a Seller’s Representative Certification

My Passion

My passion now is to help people discover that their quality of life is directly impacted by their world at home.  I believe that by making thoughtful choices about what possessions to keep, as well as where and how to keep them, we can all make room for what’s truly important in our life and experience the peace, comfort and joy that order and beauty bring.

I believe we all deserve to wake up in a space that space that reflects our true self.  When surrounded by only those items we need, use and love – home is a safe, healthy, joyful place to be. I am here to support you in this goal.
